Kohistan (“Land of Mountains”), also called Indus Kohistan was an administrative district within the Hazara region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in Pakistan that was bifurcated into Upper Kohistan and Lower Kohistan in 2014, and Kolai-Palas in 2017.
